This drink has a whopping 79 grams of sugar with all that agave! 25 grams is the recommended daily for women and 35 for men. Sugar is still not good in large amounts no matter where you get it from. It creates inflammation in the body so be careful adding sweeteners! I would swap the agave for a few other berries if you like more sweetness. Smoothie is a good way to incorporate avocado I like it.

I am Mexican and I approve this recipe 😄 I am shockingly surprised it was delicious, I used honey instead b/c that's what I had in hand. Whenever I have extra avocado after making guac, I'm going to cube it and throw it in a Ziploc bag to freeze for future smoothies 😋

I am hooked on your recipe! I double the recipe. I haven't had luck finding 'good' galungal; what I did find appeared beautiful on the outside but wasn't just woody, it was extremely dry on the inside (is it supposed to be?). So, I use ginger.

Just FYI for everyone:green onions keep extremely well in a glass of water. Also: just plant them in some soil and it‘ll keep sprouting. I bought 3 bundles at one point and when I need some, I just cut off what I need. It regrows pretty quickly
